Tullynessle – Then and Now, a heritage celebration.
Saturday 10th October – Saturday 17th October 2009.
This week long event is a celebration of the heritage of the area using photographs of the present day and photographs of people, places and events from the past. Personal memories will accompany the old photographs. In addition, you can hear the memories of older members of the community which have been recorded as part of an oral history project.
The Art and Design students of Alford Academy have been invited to design the CD cover of the oral history recordings. Tullynessle Primary School are working on their contribution to the event.
We have received poems from people reminiscing about the past and we would love to receive more!
As well as the photographic exhibition there is a programme of events running throughout the week.

This promises to be a chilling and thrilling experience for young people and will continue Visible Fictions commitment to the creation of dynamic and head-turning new work for young audiences of 12 and over.
